WARRIOR W-5 Multi Bond – Multi-Purpose Adhesive for Cement Bonding & Waterproofing

Originating from Singapore and trusted in Singapore and Malaysia for more than 30 years, WARRIOR W-5 Multi Bond is a high-performance water-based polymer designed as a multi-purpose adhesive, cement bonding agent, waterproofing additive, concrete curing agent, and polymer injection solution. Suitable for tile bonding, tile-over-tile applications, new-to-old concrete bonding, plastering, screeding, flexible cement waterproofing, and crack injection, W-5 significantly improves bonding strength, flexibility, compressive strength, and resistance against water, chloride, salt, oil, vapour, and mild acids. It can be applied on damp surfaces and even helps stop active water leakage by sealing water passages through polymer injection. WARRIOR W-5 also reduces cement porosity and shrinkage cracks while enhancing the durability and service life of cementitious structures. In addition, W-5 can be used directly as a multi-purpose adhesive for materials such as parquet flooring, wallpaper, paper, and other building materials, making it an exceptionally versatile solution for construction, waterproofing, repair, and maintenance applications.

FEATURES:

Cement added with W 5:

-Able to work on damp surfaces, able to act against flowing water to stop leak. Effective waterproofing. Non-toxic water-based polymer. Improves elasticity, reduces porosity, reduces shrinkage by up to 10 times for cement sand screed, and thus reduces shrinkage cracks.
-Improved bonding strength by 2 to 3 times to 30.57 kg/ cm2 . Especially good for bonding of homogeneous tiles, granites and marble tiles and wood. Bonds directly onto concrete surface.
-Allows thin plastering work. Does not yellow when exposed to sunlight.
-Increased flexural strength to 71.33 kg/cm2 and compressive strength to 407.6 kg/cm2 .
-Chloride, salt water, oil, vapours and mild acid resistance

  • Ensure surfaces to be coated are clean and intact. Remove paintwork or grease thoroughly. No chipping to the cement surface is needed. Dampen all surfaces before application.
  1. Tile Bonding
    Add W5 into cement and mix thoroughly into a homogenous paste.
    Ratio: W5: Water: Cement = 1: 2: 10 by weight.
    Usage: 0.15 kg/m2 /mm thickness

    For Tile-Over-Tile Bonding
    Skim-coat the entire existing tile surface with W5 tile bonding mortar (as above). Allow the tile bonding mortar to dry for 24 hours. Bond tiles on the cured cement surface, using W5 tile bonding mortar.

    New-to-Old Concrete Bonding, Screeding and Plastering on Old Cement Surface
    Apply a thin layer of W5 tile bonding mortar over the surface to be bonded, when the bonding mortar starts to gel and stengthen, install the overlaying materials (concrete, screeding or plastering)
     
  2. Cement Slurry Waterproofing
    Dilute W5 with 1 time of water. Mix cement with the diluted W 5 solution (40% of cement weight).
    Usage: 0.4 kg / sq. m. per 2 mm thick.
    Higher dosage of W5 increases the flexibility of cement.
     
  3. Concrete Curing Agent
    Mix Ratio: W5 : Water = 1 : 4 by volume.
    Mix well, brush over freshly poured concrete surface, so to reduce shrinkage cracks, increase strength and surface hardness.
     
  4. Polymer Injection
    W5 can be poured or injected into cracks directly, to seal up water passage and stop water penetration.
     
  5. Multi-Purpose Adhesives
    W5 can be used directly as glue for various materials, e.g., parquet, paper, wallpaper, etc.
    Cured W5 will not dissolve when in contact with water.
